Accreditation Program
This is a 2 part program which consists of a grid to be filled in with specific shapes and then a piece you design using those shapes.
We cannot emphasize enough that accreditation is a personal choice that individual quillers may make if they choose to pursue the program. No quiller will be required to participate, and it will NEVER be used as a criterion for membership in the NAQG.
Important Dates
- Applications ONLY accepted: November 1 to November 30.
- Accreditation is open to applicants within their third consecutive year or more of NAQG membership.
- Deadline for submission of pieces for accreditation assessment: MUST be received by registration officer no later than February 28.
- Accreditations announced by end of April or early May.

TIPS
- Practice ALL the shapes on the Shape Identification Chart to “perfection”
- Create consistent examples of shapes
- No evident glue…can’t stress this enough!!!!!
- Use even tension when rolling coils, otherwise shapes will appear “lopsided”
- Coils or rolls should lay flat with no “torpedo” effect
- Minimize the “crimp” in the coil’s center
- Inner coils must show even spacing
- Area where coil or roll end is glued must not be visible in assembled design
We hope this helps and we wish you success if you choose to apply for the NAQG Accreditation Program now or in the future.
